Ran a marathon

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don’t have new year’s resolutions, I have year themes. This year was the year to “move it move it”. I ran 3-5 times a week, so Yes, I did it.

 No, but just found out my grandmother has cancer….

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? Vacation

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Can't remember the dates but I had a few really cool camping trips. One was in the spring at Joshua Tree.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Got a really good job.

9. What was your biggest failure? Not losing weight with all the running.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Normal running injury with my jacked up feet.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
New MacBook. It was time to get a new computer and I am very happy with it.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My mom. She put her life on hold to take care of her ill Uncle and my Grandmother.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Most celebrities and politicians.

14. Where did most of your money go? Mortgage. Hello responsible adult.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? The Twilight books.

16. What song will always remind you of 2008? Sad, but this year has no song for me.

Brunch with family and then watched movies with my sisters

Twilight = best cult book

 Full time tenure track job

 10 million dollars

28. What was your favorite film of this year?
Not much of a theater person (love Netflixs) so I am not sure what movies came out this year. Or I didn't pay attention to the movies I say in the theater, but will for next year re-cap.

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 31. Dinner with family.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Better communication with T. After 10 years some conversations just stop….

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Black. Most of my clothes are black.

32. What kept you sane?

 Sisters. Running

Fancy, but not in a good way....Sarah Palin. Where did she come from?

34. What political issue stirred you the most?

Prop 8 in California. You can't choose who you love.

35. Who did you miss?

Friends form college. This was the year they were scattered around the world.

36. Who was the best new person you met? 2 People at the new job.

One foot in front of the other will get you where you need to go. Even if it is a marathon and it is mile 22 and you are crying and want to quit.
